At Fine Remodeling, we often say, “If you dream it, we build it.” And this project is the perfect example of turning inspiration into reality.
Our client, Rachel, came to us with a vision: a serene and functional zenden inspired by renderings and ideas she had gathered. The goal was to transform an underused sunroom into a cozy, stylish sanctuary tailored just for her.
From the start, Rachel’s ideas were clear—clean lines, warm textures, and a peaceful vibe. The challenge? Bringing those renderings to life with precision and integrity. Our team leaned into that challenge, and the results speak for themselves.
We started by installing black-on-black modern windows to create the bold contrast and clean look Rachel was after. To warm the space and give it a natural, inviting feel, we outfitted the ceiling and walls with Eastern White Pine. Underfoot, we installed heated flooring beneath stunning 3x3 porcelain tiles, making the space as comfortable as it is beautiful.
As the finishing touch, we crafted a custom built-in office wall—complete with wallpaper, integrated shelving, and trim work that tied the entire space together.
But what truly made this project special was the collaborative process.
“For me, this was the biggest project I’ve ever done in my own home,” Rachel shared in a post-project interview. “What I really appreciated was how patient you were as I worked through the decisions. The best part was the communication—I could always count on you to get back to me quickly and keep me informed.”
Rachel’s trust in our team wasn’t taken lightly. Throughout the process, we remained focused on the details and upheld a level of respect for her home that she and her family noticed.
“Your team was so reliable and respectful. They kept the space clean and treated our home with care. That meant a lot to us.”
When asked why she chose Fine Remodeling after interviewing other contractors, Rachel was clear:
“It felt personal. You really listened to what I wanted. You asked thoughtful questions, talked through the details, and I felt like we had great rapport. I knew I’d get a professional, detail-oriented, and reliable experience—and I did.”
This project wasn’t just a renovation. It was a partnership built on trust, communication, and a shared vision. And now, Rachel has a stunning zenden that reflects her lifestyle and personality—crafted with care, precision, and pride.
